Liberate Kuwait!
A downloadable game
On August 2nd, 1990, Saddam Hussein ordered the invasion of Kuwait, taking the country in a couple of days. The next day, the U.N security council passed Resolution 660, which condemned the invasion and demanded that Iraq fully withdraw by January 16, 1991. Iraq refused, so a coalition was formed between 39 countries that all had the same goal: liberate Kuwait.
This is a two-player wargame that takes 30-45 min. One player plays as the armed forces of Iraq, who are trying to hold onto Kuwait after the enormously successful invasion, while the Coalition, spearheaded by the US, has set out to remove all presence of the Iraqi army from Kuwait. The goal of this game is not to be a perfect simulation, but instead to be a fun, tense, action-packed 30-45 minute wargame. Enjoy!
